March’s Carrier of the Month is Jerome Earl Bailey Trucking. Operating primarily out of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Jerome Earl Bailey Trucking has been working with Spot for one year. Once on-boarded, he made an immediate impact with everyone he encountered at Spot. He has built and fostered many strong relationships within the office. He has run several loads and frequently takes advantage of our technology platforms to book and track freight. He has proven to be a dependable and reliable carrier Spot can count on to get the job done.

Tell us about your founding: I have been involved in the transportation industry for 20 years this month. I started driving with my brother and never looked back. I became known around Spot as, “Batman!”
What does your company specialize in? We are known for destroying loads left and right! IN, MI, OH, IL reefer shipments…beware! Ha.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot? Spot has been a great company to work with. They have good loads, good people and there is good money.
What do you do to pass time while on the road? To pass time when I’m not driving, I play on my Atari game system – Galaga, Mario Brothers, Dig Dug, Pac Man and Miss Pac Man.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be? The industry has treated me well so far. If I could change anything, I would like the gas prices to go down.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry? I enjoy making relationships with anyone in the industry – shippers, receivers and brokers.
Anything else about your company or the industry that you think everyone should know? I’m a bad man and drive under the alias, “Batman, the Load Destroyer!” Ha!
