Andy co-founded Spot in 2009 with business partner Andrew Elsener. He is primarily responsible for managing all technology efforts, specifically Spot’s proprietary technology, RED, which is named after his mother. Andy has over fifteen years of logistics experience with various asset and non-asset based companies with roles ranging from carrier sales and operations to management. He has a BS in Finance from Indiana University. Outside of work, Andy enjoys being at the go-kart track with his son, spending time with his dad, and going to dinner at his favorite Indianapolis hotspots (Ruth’s Chris & Ambrosia).

Andrew co-founded Spot in 2009 with business partner Andy Schenck. He is primarily responsible for the oversight of all sales and customer service-related functions and setting strategic growth initiatives. Prior to Spot, Andrew managed another logistics brokerage and also taught high school biology. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his wife and five children, reading, and thinking about freight!

Andrew started with Spot in 2014 and has primary responsibility for all accounting, finance, risk management, and legal matters. In addition, he has oversight of internal operations, ensuring that all customer, carrier, and employee related issues are handled with a high degree of urgency and professionalism. Prior to Spot, Andrew held a number of investment banking and financial consulting roles in Chicago working on over 100 M&A and restructuring transactions. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys golf, traveling, attending concerts, yardwork, and spending time with his wife and three daughters.

Anthony started at Spot in 2013 and has primary responsibility for all sales and business development efforts across the numerous industries that Spot targets. Prior to Spot, Anthony was in sales at another transportation company and also taught various subjects at a charter school in Indianapolis. He has a BS in Health Education from the University of Indianapolis. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and son and golfing.

Jeremiah is Spot’s longest tenured employee, starting in 2009. He has primary responsibility for managing Spot’s Account Managers at the Charlotte, North Carolina office. This includes sales penetration and pipeline management. Jeremiah started his career at Spot as a Customer Service Representative and grew into an Account Manager prior to transitioning into his current role. Outside of work, Jeremiah enjoys fitness, spending time with friends and family, and being a part of the Charlotte social scene.

Jeff started at Spot in 2018 and is responsible for all of Spot’s HR functions, including the growth of Spot’s people, culture, and employee engagement. Prior to Spot, Jeff has worked in the financial services and tech industries serving as the primary HR business partner for revenue generating and operational divisions. Jeff graduated from Ball State University with a BS in Human Resource Management. Outside of work, Jeff enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters, playing golf, and being at the lake.

Kreg started at Spot is 2014 and is responsible for the initial training and development of all new hires, implementing best practices for Spot’s departments, and the continued development of existing employees. Kreg started his career at Spot as a Freight Sales Representative before becoming a National Account Director where he handled many of Spot’s largest accounts. Kreg has an MBA from Ball State University where he played collegiate football. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.

Alexa started with Spot in 2017 and is responsible for leading Spot’s marketing and communications efforts. This includes branding, digital strategy, events, campaign creation, and public relations. Prior to Spot, Alexa managed the marketing department at a large privately-held telecommunications company. She graduated from Butler University with a BS in Marketing. Outside of work, Alexa enjoys spending time with family, fashion, traveling, and watching movies.

Ben started at Spot in 2020 and is responsible for the management, implementation, and usability of computer technologies to drive business performance at a strategic level. Ben has over twenty-five years of experience in network infrastructure design, implementation, and customer service. Ben holds a BA in Management Information Systems from Ball State University. Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Brad started at Spot in 2013 and is responsible for leading Spot’s LTL department. This includes LTL account management, meeting with carriers, and negotiating rates between carriers and customers. He started his career as an Account Manager at Spot and eventually grew his business to become a Senior Account Manager before transitioning into his current role. Brad graduated from Ball State University with a BS in Industry and Technology. Outside of work, Brad enjoys hiking, biking, and cooking.

Ryan started at Spot in 2019 and is responsible for Spot’s Carrier Sales efforts, including carrier development strategy, building valuable carrier relationships, and ensuring sustained growth and success of the Carrier Sales team. Prior to Spot, Ryan held various leadership positions for a large truckload carrier, most recently as VP of Pricing. He graduated from Butler University with a BS in Marketing. Outside of work, Ryan enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and four children.

Brian has over twenty years of logistics experience with a focus on account management, business development, and leadership. He has a BS in Public Affairs and Management from Indiana University. Outside of work, Brian enjoys spending time with his three children, traveling, playing golf, and going to concerts.

Cole was one of the first hires when Spot opened its satellite office in Charlotte in 2016. Before transitioning into his current role, Cole spent three years as a National Account Director at Spot. As a Sales Manager, Cole is responsible for leading a team of Account Managers with the goal of growing their accounts through relationship building and providing unique solutions. Prior to working at Spot, Cole spent six years in service-related management after graduating from the University of South Carolina. In his spare time, Cole is a huge DC & Gamecock sports fan, and he loves to golf, bowl, and spend time on his deck with his dog Xander.

Kelsey started at Spot in 2012 and is responsible for coaching her set of Account Managers on the importance of hitting sales targets and achieving growth within their accounts. She started her career at Spot as an Account Manager and grew into a National Account Director before transitioning into her current role. Kelsey has a BS in Business Marketing from the University of Indianapolis where she played collegiate tennis. Outside of work, she enjoys camping, hiking, and boat life with her husband and bulldog, Bosco.

Leigh started at Spot in 2019 and is responsible for leading and developing a team of Account Managers to ensure they hone the skills necessary to help Spot continue to disrupt the logistics industry and increase its market share. Prior to Spot, Leigh was the General Manager at another logistics company and has eight years of sales leadership experience. He has an Associate’s Degree from Ancilla College in Business Administration where he played collegiate golf. Outside of work, Leigh enjoys spending time with his wife and two boys and working on DIY projects around his house.

Shane brings years of Sales Team Management experience to Spot. Outside of work, he enjoys making memories with his wife and their four children. Shane has also given back to his community over the years by founding and/or running youth sports organizations.

Tanisha started at Spot in 2015 and has primary responsibility for all risk management, claims, and carrier safety and compliance matters. Tanisha has over 10 years of customer service and insurance experience with Allstate and Liberty Mutual. She has a BS in Business Administration from IUPUI. Outside of work, Tanisha enjoys spending time with her family, attending her son’s sporting games, and watching Netflix.
