Tell us about your founding: In 2018, I started JR Unlimited LLC because I always wanted the freedom of being my own boss. I think this is a feeling shared by most truckers.
What does your company specialize in? We specialize in dry freight, but as a company, we will take on any task for our customers.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot? I enjoy working with Spot because of the close and personal interactions with my broker, Steve.
What do you do to pass time while on the road? Most drivers, including myself, enjoy seeing the sights and listening to music. At JR Unlimited, a couple of drivers carry pets with them for companionship.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be? If I could change anything, it would be the inconsistencies in the rates drivers get paid and the rate fluctuations that occur.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through the most? I enjoy driving through northern California because of the redwood trees and the hillsides.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry? My favorite part of the logistics industry is our ability to provide food on the shelves of stores and the personal freedom of being on the road.
Anything else about your company or the industry that you think everyone should know? JR Unlimited LLC always aims to provide quality service to our customers, and we always treat our drivers as part of our family.
