April’s Carrier of the Month, King’s Logistics, has been a key partner of Spot’s since Thanksgiving when they jumped in on a tough project for one of our largest food shippers. Since then, they have hauled over 300 loads for us. Their communication and ability to problem solve on the spot doesn’t go unnoticed, and we sincerely appreciate their partnership. Tell us about your founding: Our company was founded in 2018. I was a driver and decided to open my own trucking business. We are a little company with a big heart where determination and honesty drive our business forward!
What does your company specialize in?: Refrigerated freight in the Tri-State, Northeast, and Southeast regions.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot?: The rates are always fair, and I enjoy working with our Spot point of contact, Austin.
What do you do to pass time while on the road?: Negotiate loads and plan my trip for the following day.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be?: Fair rates and showing respect for drivers.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through the most?: Southeast region
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry?: Traveling and meeting new people. I also enjoy negotiating rates – it’s a great feeling!
