Tell us about your founding: Ronel Transport was founded in 2015. It was always my dream to have my own trucking company, and I’m proud that I have been able to accomplish that dream.
What does your company specialize in? At Ronel, we specialize in Dry Van and Power Only Trucking. We primarily operate out of the Southeastern United States.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot? With Spot, I know I will get excellent carrier service. Offering around-the-clock confidence, they are always available, at any time, for anything I need.
What do you do to pass time while on the road? While driving, I concentrate on the road, but I love to watch Netflix, rest, and relax when I get a chance to take a break.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be? If I could improve one thing, it would be to raise the rates truckers get paid or to limit the price of truck insurance. Both would make the industry better.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through the most? I love driving through Florida and Texas. I especially love the Southeastern United States, with Florida being my favorite.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry? My favorite part of the logistics industry is that there is no shortage of opportunities. The ability to grow as a business is always there.
Anything else about your company or the industry that you think everyone should know? I just want people to know that being a carrier is a hard job, but not an impossible job.
