Tell us about your founding (year, why you started, etc.): Sandhu was founded in 2010 by Manjeet Sandhu after being an over-the-road driver for two years. Manjeet continues to run the company as a family business.
What does your company specialize in (i.e., modes, areas of the country, etc.)?: At Sandhu, we specialize in full truckload, hauling refrigeration goods across the Northeast region of the United States.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot?: Working with Spot has been an absolute pleasure. Their professionalism and flexibility in working with us have been outstanding. They are someone we can always rely on, which is why we enjoy working with Spot.
What do you do to pass the time while on the road?: We love listening to good music and podcasts. But we also always love taking in the scenic roads on the way.
What would it be if you could change one thing about the transportation industry?: We always wish there was less supply-chain disruption in the transportation industry.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through the most? Why?: We continue to love the Northeast region of the United States.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry?: We have been allowed to have the balance of a fantastic career and a positive, happy home life. Working in logistics has opened new doors, presented challenges, and allowed me to work with some of the best in the business.
Anything else about your company or the industry that you think everyone should know?: We are a small family business. We care about our drivers, brokers, and customers. We try our best to do everything in a timely manner. We also love seeing home-balanced life and ensuring drivers always have time for their families.
