Tell us about your founding: Stone Wheel Trucking was established in March of 2018. We are a small trucking company out of Wilkesboro, North Carolina. We started our company because we have four children and we want to provide a future for them.
What does your company specialize in?: We run a mix of dry van and flatbed hauling nationwide.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot?: We love running loads for SPOT. Our loads are always provided and processed quickly and easily. Our Account Manager at Spot is awesome to work with and makes sure everything runs smoothly.
What do you do to pass the time while on the road?: We rest! We encourage our drivers to take as much time as needed to ensure their safety and the safety of other drivers on the road. Family time is also very important to Stone Wheel Trucking. We try to make sure our drivers get plenty of time at home.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be?: We always wish there were fewer restrictions and dedicated lanes for semi-trucks.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through the most?: The Southeast is our favorite; beautiful country, and many places look like home.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry?: Helping others and meeting new people from all over the United States is the best part of being in this industry.
Anything else about your company or the industry that you think everyone should know?: We are a Christian-based company. We, as the Stone Wheel family, put God at the top of all we do. Without Him, we would have nothing. We are blessed more than we deserve.
