Carriers are the backbone of our success. Without our carriers, we wouldn’t be able to offer our shippers the quality and reliability they’ve come to expect from us.
May’s Carrier of the Month, Logisticize, has been a key partner of Spot’s for about 7 months now. Throughout this time, they have been exceptionally organized and stayed loyal to us through a tough market on freight for one of our largest automotive shippers. They are always prompt in their responses, and that makes our job easier! Read on for a Q&A to learn more about Logisticize and their take on the transportation industry.
Tell us about your founding: Our company was founded in 2000. In the past, customers would ask us for special services that they couldn’t find help with, so Logisticize was born to supply these customers’ needs.
What does your company specialize in?: Oversized loads, which is still our largest segment, and motorcycle hauling. This type of freight kept us busy even during the 2008 market crash. In 2011, we decided to change directions and added more regular van freight while also increasing our flatbed division.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot?: Once we started to build trust with Spot and got to truly know everyone on the team, the working relationship has taken on a life of itself. Our goal is to provide a level of service where we only really have to deal with major issues, and Spot allows us the freedom to do our job.
If you could change one thing about the transportation industry, what would it be?: People sell to people, and remaining true to your word builds trust. The logistics industry is consistently moving at a rapid pace, and at times, information isn’t always presented accurately – this is when the blame game starts. It’s important to understand that we all make mistakes and all we can do is learn from it and move on!
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry?: The people! We’ve gotten to know and become friends with a lot of folks in the industry who ultimately want the same thing: getting freight moved as quickly as possibly without any issues.
