Tell us about your founding (year, why you started, etc.): Sowinksi Trucking LLC has been in business for 25-plus years. We originally started hauling the potatoes that we grow on our farm.
What does your company specialize in (i.e., modes, areas of the country, etc.): We specialize in potatoes! We mainly operated out of the Midwest.
Why do you enjoy working with Spot: We enjoy working with Spot because they are flexible, always willing to help, and friendly people to work with.
What do you do to pass the time while on the road?: When not driving, we like watching movies, doing our laundry, reading books, and playing games.
What would it be if you could change one thing about the transportation industry? We would add more places for truck drivers to rest, and then we would like better freight rates.
What part of the country do you enjoy driving through the most? Why?: We love the Midwest; it has beautiful scenery to see while going through it.
What is your favorite part about being in the logistics industry?: Every day is new, and not one day is the same.
