SPOT FEATURED ON SELLING POWER’S “50 BEST COMPANIES TO SELL FOR” LIST FOR THIRD CONSECUTIVE YEAR

July 7, 2021

Spot Freight Inc. (Spot), one of the fastest-growing logistics companies in North America, is pleased to announce that it has ranked on the Selling Power 50 Best Companies to Sell For list [https://bit.ly/35RmLi1]. This is the 21st consecutive year the ranking has been published by Selling Power.

“We’re excited to be receiving this award for the third consecutive year,” said Andrew Elsener, Co-Founder of Spot. “Spot is proud of the ambitious sales team we’ve built and maintained over the past twelve years, and despite the recent challenges the logistics industry has faced, the team has continued to drive revenue growth. I’m continually impressed by our sales teams’ efforts and am thrilled to congratulate them for this well-deserved honor along with the recruiting team who continues to source top talent as well as the leadership team who drives our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.”

To assemble this year’s 50 Best list, Selling Power’s research team created a thorough application where they gathered data across four main categories:

  • Compensation and benefits
  • Sales culture
  • Onboarding and sales enablement strategies
  • Sales training and coaching

Companies were ranked in each of the categories above to determine the final list. The methodology is the product of years of research, and Selling Power continues to refine the approach each year. Almost all the companies featured on the list invested in and offered thorough training specific to virtual selling in response to the pandemic. The list encompasses companies of all sizes – with sales forces ranging from fewer than 100 salespeople to companies with sales-force numbers in the thousands.

Selling Power magazine founder and publisher Gerhard Gschwandtner says, “The companies who earned a spot on this year’s list have truly world-class sales organizations. In addition to providing superior onboarding and ongoing sales training, they quickly pivoted their strategy to give their sales reps the tools and skills they needed to succeed in today’s digital, remote selling environment.”

Amidst a trying year across the globe, Spot experienced a greater than 60% increase in revenue and onboarded over 150 new employees from 2019 to 2020. Spot has continued to add staff to its Recruiting and Training & Development teams at both its Indianapolis and Charlotte offices in an effort to maintain its positive growth trajectory and position as one of the top 50 freight brokers in the country (as reported by Transport Topics).
